Started the weekend early with a Fuzzy Leopard [you read that right, the drink is called a Fuzzy Leopard. Made. For. Me.] @ Bittercreek. I'd tell you the recipe, but there is no way you'll do this bevvy justice at home. Just know there is basil + lime and it is absolute magic.
After spending the morning at the spa, Lindy & I stopped for coffee @ Rembrandts. You don't always have to get coffee in a paper cup. Please, take note of her adorable sweater [and while we're at it, take a peek at that gorg Marc Jacobs bag].
Some remaining Christmas lights lit the way on my stroll back from the grocery store. Yes, Boise, I walked somewhere. Brisk, but nice to remember we don't have to drive everywhere we go. Did I contemplate getting a cab back? Certainly, but I'd never have seen these cute little lights otherwise. [and YES, I sat down to enjoy a chai and went on a walk. Game changing weekend.]
Imagine my heart all a flutter when my trusty iPhone informed me of an incoming text. Low & behold, a little drawing awaited... just for me!! Unfortunately, this little drawing resides in another state and I won't be able to see it IRL [in real life] until the weekend. Aw, shucks. Still, pretty much makes my heart burst [which is a good thing, mind you. Meaning my little heart just swelled right up with joy]. Also... recognize the font?? ;-)
PS... the lack of photos on today's post doesn't mean I wasn't snapping away like a regular paparazzi. But those pictures are saved for the amazing posts coming your way. Get excited, and I'll see you tomorrow!!

I love you too...nice font...nice person who wrote the font...

ReplyDeleteI really love your blog, Kelli!
I think this is my favorite post yet -you managed to spark a little warmth on this otherwise cold, wet, icky day.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you like it. Now we just need the weather to warm up [said on the eve of a snow storm].
