I was pretty much in love with Jen's Hunter rain boots BEFORE this post, but now it is a full on obsession. I love-love-love this whole outfit, [literally] head to toe. Idaho weather is known to be quite fickle, so it is completely appropriate to pair rain boots with a skirt. It will be quite warm and BAM- monsoon. And if there is a risk of a monsoon- you certainly should be cute.
STYLE TIP: In this look, Jen pairs a striped top with polka dots. Since the stripes are thin and the polka dots are bold, it is a great way to do "print mixing" without going over the top. This is also a great way to jump on the trend without having to buy all new clothes- your closet likely already has the key ingredients for a print mixing masterpiece like this one!

I have this DIY skirt pattern I've been dying to make and loving the polka dot trend popping up everywhere, I think I need to find some polka dot fabric to recreate this!
