It is honestly the only thing I've wanted to eat for over a week. I have been stressed- and probably a little nutrient deprived- and a burger and fries just always sounds amazing. Since being in SF, I've had some really good ones [Martin Macks, Magnolia] but nothing compares to my hometown- the best burger I've literally ever had is at Fork in Boise, ID.
I am salivating just thinking about it. Lindy and I used to go SO MUCH that we thought maybe they thought we were a couple, so we stopped for a few months. Luckily before I left we squeezed in like, 3 visits. If you are in [or near] Boise- GO TO FORK and order the Urban Burger. I like to add white cheddar and an onion ring. OK OMG YUM.
What is that at the bottom? Oh... it is just butter cake. I think the name speaks for itself. Sigh, amazing. I mean, I know I am living near some of the best restaurants in the world, but I'm pretty passionate [slash] hungry for the meal above.
I also like Fork because they truly live by a "farm to table" mission- everything is locally sourced and that means it is delicious. I meant to share this post like weeks before I moved, but I couldn't because I was moving and stuff... and just now I realized I wanted to share this bit of news with all of my burger & Boise loving readers. Go and enjoy it since I can't!
To my SF readers- IS THERE ANY PLACE HERE THAT MIGHT BE COMPARABLE?? I AM HAVING WITHDRAWALS. Ok, thanks!
