HELLO & Happy Friday, darlings!! First and foremost, allow me to introduce you to this post's co-star, Christine! Christine & I met about a month after I moved to SF, and it was SUCH a relief we did. I love this girl! Plus, it turned out we were basically neighbors- which means we get the joy of a lot of happy hours and girl talk. Again, a relief.
She also has a blog which quickly became a favorite- Couture Bay. Her blog is so refreshing, and different from what any other blogs are posting. She has the best eye for vintage, and can show you where to find it all on Etsy. From beauty, to bags, to affordable brands you likely have never heard of... I love it. Go check it out! [and then come back here and finish reading this post...]
SO last night, we attended a party called Startups and Style- celebrating stylish gals [and guys] in the startup industry. Held at the Eventbrite headquarters, we mingled with the likes of Threadflip, Stella & Dot, Taskrabbit, Popsugar, Postmates, the Munchery, Uber, Yelp, the list goes on [and apologies to those I've forgotten]. Tons of fun, great food and drinks, and more style than I've ever seen in one place. Such a great time, and we knew it'd be a big fail on our end to forget to share our outfits!
Don't you love how just Wednesday, I was complaining about heels- and for today's post I'm definitely wearing them? The thing is, the flounce skirt calls for heels! I caught it on major clearance at Anthro, but the similar version is gorg. Since my hair is dark again, I'm drawn to all the cobalt blue pieces in my closet- so expect to see more. I can never wear an "all tight" outfit, so pairing the skirt with a chunky sweater made the skirt more wearable and comfortable. Also, do we think I'll ever get sick of this necklace? Shoot.
Christine's dress is so gorgeous in person- if I ever needed a new camera, it would be to capture the details on that beautiful dress of hers. The back is so unique- in fact, as we were shooting a passerby told her just that. And I love how she paired it with ankle boots, the newest thing on my wish list for sure.
I hope you enjoyed the double-outfit post! San Francisco is seriously HOPPIN' this weekend- so follow all the fun on Twitter! And more importantly... have a great weekend yourself!!
