Wine Country.

As I mentioned on Monday, we went to wine country over the weekend. It was my first time going, ever, and it did not disappoint. The views are so amazing, the towns are so cute, and the wine... is so good. Tina already blogged the weekend, but I thought I'd share a few photos too!

It is important to note that everything I'm wearing, except for my jeans and my bag, are literally 100 years old. OKAY at least 5 years old. No exaggeration on the 5 years part, seriously. I did purge a lot of clothing when I moved to the city, but these items survived and for good reason. I don't feel like this outfit looks like me 5 years ago, I simply styled them differently than I would have then. I will say, I wish I'd grabbed a cute clutch for this outfit instead of hanging onto my huge purse... but hindsight is 20/20.

Do you hold onto things in your closet, or are you constantly rotating them out? For either answer- leave your tips in the comments! I'm always so curious about other's opinions on the life-altering topic of "to keep or to sell."

  2. We went to Napa in May and I was inspired by you to at least pull some cute things together :) Skirts, colorful shorts with cute tops, sandals and a wristlet.

  6. Looks like a fun weekend! I definitely need to purge my closet. But I can never really bear to letting anything go--because "you never know when you're going to use it" but I really need to move stuff out!

  7. Looks like so much fun! I totally hang on to things in my closet, I never really buy anything unless I really like it so that makes me want to hold on to anything until it falls apart :)

  8. I hope San Fran is treating you well. The Boise visits are not the same....but you know I'll always love my daughter more than you :) I'm married now (too bad you never set me up with your dad) and everything is great. I really miss my kids (...and you too) but I am very content. Best wishes!
