Well, well, well... Look what the cat dragged in. (Me.)
To call my life a whirlwind would be a tragic understatement right about now. In case you missed it, I got married, went on an epic honeymoon in Spain, and moved to LA. OH. And my name is Kelli Lamb now. I MEAN. That's an awful lot to happen to a girl all at once. I hope to write extensively about ALL of it in the coming weeks. I'm finally feeling settled and like I can breathe again, and I also have a lot of spare time. Like, where'd my social life go? Oh yeah, I do not currently have one.
In the meantime, here's a rundown:
-The wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. I wish I could relive it over and over again and am antsy to get the pictures back. But, I don't have "post-wedding depression" or anything. I just am reveling in the memories.
-The honeymoon was UNBELIEVABLE. I will be detailing the cities we stopped in (Madrid, Seville, Mallorca, and Barcelona) as well as the activities in each place. Right now, all you need to know is Tim worked with GM Iberica to plan it and, I'm not even exaggerating, it was perfect. I felt like I was on an episode of The Bachelor with new cities and adventures and endless cava, but I didn't have to compete with 25 girls for the dates. I just got to go on them with my hunky husband.
-Due to a pretty quick turn of events, Tim was offered/asked to transfer to the Dreamworks Studio in Los Angeles. We are very grateful for the opportunity, but truth be told... a little heartbroken too. More on that another day.
-We're renting a gorgeous house (pictured above) in the Los Feliz/Silverlake area. I'm told this means "Eastside." It's still walkable and there are lots of cute cafes around, which makes me happy. And I'm still working for Rue. Duh!
-The rug in the photo is the ELODIE rug from Lulu & Georgia. It was designed by Glitter Guide founder, Taylor Sterling, and is named after her cute daughter. We haven't made progress decorating a single room in the house, but have a dream kitchen and the rug finished the space. It makes my heart sing.
WHEW. That's all I've got in me today, but am happy to be back in this space and hope to be writing a lot more again soon. Thanks for reading. :)
